Legal
Report illegal content
Effective date: 19 August 2026
This page is the electronic mechanism for notices of alleged illegal information hosted on Genematic (EU DSA Article 16; UK Online Safety Act; UK e-Commerce Regulation 19; Defamation Act 2013 s.5). It does not make us the publisher of user posts.
1. Fastest path if you have an account
Open the post, profile, comment, or message → Report. In-product reports go to our moderation queue. For CSAM, NCII, or imminent harm, also email legal@genematic.ai immediately.
2. Formal notice (no account required)
Email legal@genematic.ai (or write to Genematic Ltd, 10 Sheppard Street, Swindon, England, SN1 5DB). To be actionable, include:
- A sufficiently substantiated explanation of the reasons why you allege the information is illegal (facts + the legal rule).
- A clear URL or other locator for the specific item.
- Your name and email, unless DSA Art. 16(2) anonymity applies.
- A statement that you believe the notice is accurate and submitted in good faith.
Vague reports, missing URLs, or lawful-but-offensive AI art will not, without more, give us actual knowledge.
3. NCII and intimate deepfakes
If you are the identifiable person (or their authorised agent), say so. We prioritise removal of non-consensual intimate imagery, including synthetic / AI-generated imagery, under applicable US (including TAKE IT DOWN), UK, and EU rules.
4. Child sexual abuse material
Do not attach the files. Send the URL and a short description.
5. Defamation (UK website-operator defence)
For a Defamation Act 2013 section 5 notice, also include:
- Your name (complainant).
- The statement complained of and where it appears.
- Why it is defamatory of you.
- Whether you consent to us passing your name to the poster.
6. Copyright and trademarks
Use the Copyright & IP Policy and copyright@genematic.ai. Do not use this page as a substitute for a DMCA 512(c)(3) notice if you want the statutory process.
7. What we do
We review, may disable access expeditiously, may inform the poster, may preserve logs, and may notify authorities. We may give a statement of reasons where DSA requires it. Acting on a notice is not an admission of liability or of the merits. Knowingly false notices may be unlawful.
Product support (billing, bugs): support@genematic.ai or Contact.
