User data & account deletion

Open your account settings, go to Security, scroll to Danger zone, and use Request account deletion. We will process your request and confirm by email.

If you cannot access your account, send an email from the address associated with your account. Use the button below so the subject line is set correctly.

After we verify your request, we remove your account credentials and profile data in line with our Privacy Policy. Some information may be retained where the law requires (for example short-term logs, billing records, moderation/notice files, or copies of posts you had already made public that sit in backups, CDNs, or search-engine indexes for a limited period). Unpublishing or deleting an account does not recall files other people already downloaded.
